Powermaster Welder We recommend a minimum of a 140 amp alternator for welding. If your stock alternator is less than 140 amps, we recommend upgrading to a new Powermaster alternator. Included with the welder is a certificate that entitles you to send your alternator (whether it is a stock unit or a new Powermaster alternator) to Powermaster for converting, at no cost to you. Powermaster will: 1) Configure your alternator to connect directly to the Powermaster Welder. 2) Make internal modifications to your alternators rectifier. Use your Powermaster alternator as a DC powersupply for welding or battery jumping. Straight & reverse polarity compatible. Welding amperage directly related to amperagecapability of alternator. 250 amps maximum No moving parts. Digital MOSFET architecture for maximumreliability.
