Blue Torch Fabworks, Inc. has answered the call for a full width axle conversion kit for CJ's. The BTF kit gives you a custom built look without the need to bring it to our shop for the install. To continue with the custom look our kit is a weld on unit. The BTF full width kit is very simple to install.The front portion of the kit has two features. The first is a built in bumper, and the second it houses the front spring buckets. With the kit installed it gives your CJ a very clean look by hiding the amount that the spring buckets have to be moved out. As you may already know to install a full width alxe in a CJ the springs have to be moved out board of the frame rails. The bumper helps cover the width of the spring buckets. The bumper also provides a much stronger platform for the spring buckets to weld to rather than welding them only to the side of the frame. The front also comes with two frame plates that help reinforce the frame where the kit is welded to the frame.The rear shackle hangers are designed for a simple install. The line up on the front edge of the factory body mounts on the frame. They come complete with a DOM piece for the shackle bushings. The kit is built to use Wrangler YJ springs or CJ rear springs. The shackle mounts are designed to utilize Wrangler YJ spring eye bushings. Optional shock towers can be purchased to use with our full width kit. The shock towers are designed to use Rancho RS9012 shocks. The shock towers are a universal tower. There may be some trimming required by the customer.INCLUDED WITH THE BTF FULL WIDTH AXLE CONVERSION KIT: One front bumper assembly (houses front bumper and reversed shackle spring buckets), two side frame plates,two shackle hangers with built in gussets,andone set of detailed drawing for installation.
